How to Arrive
Torino’s international airport (www.aeroportoditorino.it) has regular flights to Spain (Madrid and Barcelona), UK (London Gatwick, London Stansted) and the main Italian cities. The airport is located in Caselle Torinese, 16 km away from Torino city centre. The best way to get to the city centre from the airport is by bus. Buses run every 15 minutes and stop in front of the main train stations: Porta Nuova and Porta Susa. A single ticket costs 6.50 euros (7 euros if bought on board) and the journey takes about 50 minutes. For further information and timetables see the SADEM website.
You can also reach the city centre by taxi. The taxi fare is about 30/50 euros and the journey takes about 30 minutes (Pronto Taxi +39 011 5737, Radio Taxi +39 011 5730 – 011 3399). The airport is also connected to the city of Torino by train. However, it is not recommended as it stops far from the city centre.
The are also direct buses running from Malpensa Airport (Milan) to Torino city centre. Travel time is about 2 hours and a single ticket costs 22 euros. If you choose this as your travel option, note that you have to book in advance. See the SADEM website for more information, timetables and bookings.
